2002 Dodge Durango recall

Consumers
deserve better service and features thus car companies should make sure
that their car parts are free from defects however it seems that Dodge
cars including Durango has been neglecting consumer complaints of
defective seatbelts that have plagued users for many years.
Approximately 16 million dodge vehicles have a seat belt that does not
pass the standard for accidental safety. Seat belts fail to function
specially in times that they are needed like in the case of sudden
stops, turns and rollovers.
Several incidents have occurred that
can prove these cla ims. In 1992, DaimlerChryswler, the producing company of Dodger
Durango, once
again failed the 30 millimeter test for seat belt safety. In US 14 deaths, including
three in Texas, and 19 serious injuries were indirectly caused by failure in seat
belt function.Over the past years, almost 140 reports have been filed by consumers
reporting
unlatching especially on child and infant seats. If DaimlerChrysler really cares
for their customers, they better do something about their unsafe safety belts.
