Dodge Durango performance part

Yearly changes in Dodge Durango performance parts contribute to the vehicle’s
improved driving performance. For 1999, three engines are available: 5.2-liter
V8, 5.9-liter V8 and the new 3.9-liter V6. The 5.2-liter engine is rated at 230
horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. The 5.9-liter Magnum V8 generates 245
horsepower and 335 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy for the 5.9-liter Dodge
V8 is rated at 12/16 mpg city/highway and 13/17 for the 5.2-liter Dodge V8. The
new 3.9-liter V6 is rated at 175 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque.
Maximum towing capacity is 7,200 pounds. Power trains for 2003 replace the original
V-6 with the 3.7 liters engine rated at 210 horsepower standard for two-wheel-drive
models. There is also the optional Magnum V-8 with 230-hp. Featured for this year
is the 5.7-liter Hemi Magnum V-8 with a powerful 330-hp. With Hemi power, the
Durango has the ability to tow up to 8950 lb. For 2004, engines offered greater
performance and fuel efficiency.
On top is the famed 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 with improved
335 horsepower and 370 pounds-feet of torque. The standard engine in two-wheel-drives
is now a 210-hp, 3.7-liter V-6. Optional is s 4.7-liter V-8 that produces 230
hp and 290 pounds-feet of torque. The 3.7-liter comes with four-speed automatic
transmission while the other two are matched with five-speed automatic transmission.
